Whose Celebrating The New Years ?

  Who is celebrating for the big 2010 ? Well,  Lots of people are and I wanted to help you out with your " Outfit of choice " for the occasion.

     Formal Party:  No long gowns, No white or blue heels, No pants ( For women. )

     Cocktail Party: Nothing below the knee but nothing above the middle of the thigh, No red garments PLEASE.

     Friendly Gathering: No sleeveless tops, No shorts, NO SWEAT SUITS !!!!

                         P.S.   Like I said in a previous post, You can never go wrong with a bustier dress. Just put a black, Long sleeved, Turtle neck under the bustier of your choice.  Remember, Try not to go for the whole Red, White, and Blue gimmick. Save it for the Fourth of July, Please.

We have recently been getting a lot of E-Mails asking about how to find the perfect jacket or winter coat. Well, The most simple answer I can give to you is... If it doesn't look good on the rack, Odds are, It won't look good on you either ! You know a jacket is too small when you lift your arms and the underarm part of the garment pulls. Once you know it fits properly, Start looking at the colors ! And a styling tip, Beige is in ! So don't go drab this season with an unfitting and unflattering coat or jacket, Go fab with the jacket that is right for you !

What to Wear In Winter ? Dress warm, look cute.

Doesnt everyone wonder what to wear in the winter? I definetely do. You always want to wear something complimenting your skin tone. Fair, lighter skinned people will want to stick with pastel colors (light blue, light pink, pastel yellow) and darker skinned people will want to stay with dark colors (dark blue, black, dark purple). From my opinion, the best thing to put over yourself after a jacket are the cropped button down jackets that are thin and VERY cute. Just be sure to pick a color that looks good on YOU. blacks mostly look best but if you are a person that cant wear black i am sure another color will work! Fur, Fur, And more FUR !!!

Faux or fox. Fur is a great way to top off any winter outfit ! Fur vests, Fur coats, Fur shirts, Fur hats, Fur underwear ! This is a faux fur vest from BKE. It's recently being sold at Buckle. It looks great over any solid or striped long-sleeve shirt. But just don't forget the color rule. There is absolutely NOTHING worse than leaving your house looking like you just walked out of Suess Land ! A nice pair of gray, leather ankle boots would look great with this over some light blue skinnies with a light or cream colored long-sleeved tee under the vest. This would be a great way to start off the holiday season. To dress it up, Wear a pale pink, pointed toe heel with a black pencil skirt that hits just above the knee. Then your dressed for success and will be the star of any business meeting.
